Eastern Christian School welcomes Christine Walker as paraprofessional. Christine received a bachelor’s in business administration from Seton Hall University. She is a current EC parent and serves as youth director and Sunday School teacher at her church.
I was born and raised a Jersey girl. I grew up in Oradell and now live in Paramus with my family. I spent my younger years being a part of my church’s youth organization as well as teaching Sunday School. I am passionate about helping and supporting the staff and students at EC in any way I can, hoping to not only help students achieve their goals academically but to also build their relationship with Christ by helping to provide a nurturing environment. In my free time, I enjoy exploring and discovering new places to check out with her family.
I studied business administration at Seton Hall University. Working in a school was never on my mind as I initially saw myself as someone who would climb the corporate ladder. But then when family and kids happen, priorities change. EC was an answer to my prayers when I was looking for a school for my kids that lined up with our faith in Christ as well as outstanding academic success. With my kids then settled into EC, I started subbing at the school to fill my days until I would find a permanent job. Little did I know I would grow to love the school, love the staff and environment so much I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else now.
Having Christ as the foundation and base for everything we teach gives students a level of love and compassion that cannot be found elsewhere. Children at EC are taught to be Christ-like in their actions and behaviors, which then creates a wonderful environment for all the student body to grow and learn together peacefully and happily.
